Throughout these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Foundations and Futures. "You", "client", or "attendee" refers to any individual accessing our website or booking our services.
2. Services Provided
We provide live online training classes, workshops, and individual consultations. Details, durations, and delivery platforms (such as video conferencing software) for each service are specified on our booking pages.
3. Bookings and Payments

Payment Terms: All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking via our online checkout powered by Wix Bookings and PayPal.

Currency & Fees: Prices are displayed during checkout. If you are paying using a non-UK debit/credit card or bank account (including payments from Sri Lanka or other international locations), you are responsible for any foreign exchange fees, conversion rates, or international transaction charges levied by your card issuer or bank.
4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy
A. Client Cancellations & Rescheduling

48-Hour Notice Period: If you cancel or request to reschedule a session at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to an available future date without penalty.

Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session start time, or failure to attend a scheduled session ("no-shows"), are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled without making a new paid booking.
B. Statutory Right to Cancel (UK Distance Selling Regulations)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, services booked for a specific date or period of performance (such as scheduled live classes and set consultations) are exempt from the standard 14-day statutory cooling-off period once the specific booking date is fixed.
C. Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel or reschedule a session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen technical issues:

We will notify you via email as soon as reasonably possible.

You will be offered the choice of a full refund or a rescheduled appointment at a mutually agreeable time.

Our financial liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the cancelled session.
5. Client Responsibilities & Technical Requirements

Time Zones: It is your responsibility to ensure you attend sessions at the correct local time. Session times are displayed during booking, accounting for time differences (e.g., UK Time vs. Sri Lanka Standard Time).

Equipment & Internet: You are responsible for ensuring you have a working computer or mobile device, camera/microphone (if required), and a stable internet connection. We are not responsible for missed sessions due to connectivity or equipment issues on the client's end.
6. Language of Instruction
All workshops, courses, resources, and live communications provided by Foundations and Futures are conducted exclusively in English. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they have a sufficient level of English language proficiency prior to booking. As a guide, an English proficiency equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) is recommended to fully engage with the course content; however, meeting this benchmark is at the participant's discretion. Refunds will not be issued due to language comprehension difficulties once a course or workshop has been booked or commenced.
7. Intellectual Property & Course Materials
All training materials, presentations, notes, visual aids, and resources provided prior to, during, or after a session are our exclusive intellectual property.

Materials are supplied solely for your individual, personal, and non-commercial use.

You may not record, screenshot, reproduce, distribute, share, or sell any part of our course content or live sessions without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from your reliance on information provided during training sessions or consultations. Advice and training provided are for educational purposes only.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
